Al carrer Sant Sebastià es troba el palau dels Squella,construït per una sèrie de construccions molt antigues unificades entre si mitjançant l’entrada del palau, a les quals dona unitat a una façana a l’estil dels palaus italians del Piemonte, on destaca l’entrada principal envasada en pedra encoixinada de tradició barroca amb frontispici de tons daurats, mèsules tallades que resalten l’escut sobre el balcó únic i principal, que exibeix una campana en or sobre fons d’atzur.mentre que al llarg balcó hi ha una artística parabanda de ferro forjat.

La planta noble queda perfilada per quatrepilastres jòniques sostingudes per atlantes de pedra.La façana ha sofert diverses modificacions: L’eixalbó de calç primerenc quedà amagat per un decorat profús, amb garlandesa i fris.

Una porta d’arquitectura figurada en el balcó central i un altre coronamentde garlandes sobre les finestres de la planta baixa. aquesta decoració, probablement es del segle XIX, es contemporània de la Can Vigo, avui també perduda.En les dues façanes es repetiria una mateixa ornamentació,probablement de la mateixa mà. La inspiració italianitzant s’explicaria pel fet que les duesfamilies, emparentades entre sí, haurien viatjat a Itàlia. La darreravegada que es netejà la façana es perden la major part de les pintures i de les finestres van ser refetes per mà d’un artesà, mentre que les escultures adosades van ser netejades de les capes de pintura verda que duien i es van deixar en pedra natural.

En el seu interior s’hi pot veure sales que varen contenir mobles Chippendale i Reina Anna, un Sant Crist d’ivori de factura italiana, un bell llit amb pintures d’Horace Vernet, un quadre de Sant pau atribuït a l’escola de Ribera e importants col.leccions d’olis i gravats dels segles XVIII i XIX . En una de les cambres va romandre el primer almirall dels Estats Units, David Glasgow Farragut, fill del mariner ciutadellenc Jordi Farragut, quan va venir a Europa en viatge oficial i volgué conèixer la pàtria del seu pare.
